Job Description
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing our development and operations processes. This role involves automating workflows, ensuring system reliability, and enhancing the efficiency of our software delivery pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems and applications.
- Automation and CI/CD:
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Monitoring and Performance:
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance and availability.
- Analyze and resolve performance issues and system outages promptly.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and provide support for deployment and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate new technologies and improve operational processes.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices to safeguard systems and data.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Proven experience in DevOps or a related role, with a strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
