Recording an entry in most accounting apps can be tedious, requiring you to navigate multiple pages and fill out numerous fields. With Deskgoo Books, we've simplified this process. Inspired by developer tools, we added fuzzy searching that can be triggered by a shortcut.  

Wherever you are in the software, press Ctrl-K and type "create sales" or a subset of those letters, then press Enter to reach the invoice creation form. Filling out the form is equally fast as you can tab through the fields you want to fill, while Deskgoo Books completes the rest for you as you go along.  

We Have Opinions, But So Do You!  

When building Deskgoo Books, we aimed to give users a high degree of customizability. We wanted users to have the same flexibility with their invoices as we do with our software.  

Instead of offering just a few invoice templates, we built an extremely powerful Template Builder. With some basic HTML knowledge, you can make your invoices look exactly how you want them to. We also bundled in a handful of templates that you can use out of the box or as a starting point to build your own custom templates.

Deskgoo Books helps you stay prudent with your business. While you continue selling goods and buying assets, it's crucial to understand how your business is really doing.  

Deskgoo Books offers a variety of accounting reports to help you keep track of different aspects of your business. To track your profits, use the Profit and Loss report. To see transactions involving a specific item, refer to the General Ledger. To keep track of your cash flow, the Balance Sheet is at your service.  

Always Yours and With You  

Deskgoo Books is desktop-first. This isn't just a marketing term; it means that it lives and functions on your computer. The data you enter into Deskgoo Books resides on your computer, so you don't need an internet connection to run the app.  

We don't store your data in the cloud under the guise of safe keeping. All your data is contained in a single SQLite database file. By making copies of it, you ensure your data is backed up. You trust us not to pull the rug from under you, and we trust that you will keep your data safe.
